So I just finished the test for my black belt... it was amazing. Honestly, it wasn't as brutal as I had expected it to be. I've had problems with passing out during class, and I was already preparing myself for failure (assuming that I would pass out during the test), but I was pretty much fine the whole time. I made one small mistake the first time I did Koreo (with a large group), but it was perfect when I did it with only one other person. I also broke a board with my jumping double front kick first shot, and broke a brick with a hammerfist also first shot. At the end of testing, the instructors suprised me so much and asked me to read one of my essays (What a Black Belt Means to Me). So ya, just wanted to share. If anyone's interested in reading the essay, I've posted it... ( because I canCollapse )
Pictures to come, X-Posted.
